Major Investment Announced

Kansas City, KS – Window and door manufacturer Marvin announced plans to invest $76.5 million in a new manufacturing facility in Kansas City, Kansas. This exciting development is expected to create over 600 new jobs in the area.

Premium Products, Local Growth

Marvin, a renowned manufacturer of premium windows and doors, will build a 400,000-square-foot facility at the Scannell 435 Logistics Center, located on the site of the former Woodlands greyhound racetrack. The new facility will initially employ approximately 100 people in full-time positions across manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly. With progressive annual growth, Marvin anticipates employing a 600-person workforce in Kansas City by 2028.

“Marvin has been on a significant growth trajectory over the past six years,” Marvin CEO and Chair of the Board Paul Marvin said. “Investing in additional facilities not only is strategic for continued growth but also will help meet current and anticipated short-term demand in the marketplace.”

Governor Laura Kelly praised Marvin’s decision to invest in Kansas, stating: “Marvin’s investment emphasizes that my administration’s approach to attracting business into our state is working. We are delivering on our commitment to making Kansas the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Boost for Kansas City Economy

This significant investment by Marvin is a major win for the Kansas City economy. The creation of hundreds of new jobs will provide opportunities for local residents and contribute to the ongoing growth of the region.

Project Timeline

Construction of the new facility is expected to be completed in 2025. Marvin anticipates beginning production of its industry-leading fiberglass window and door solutions upon the facility’s completion.
